Landscapes Skills Competition 2023 "The Professionals"

Following on from the success of last year, BBC GWL have agreed to host the competition again in 2023.

It will be slightly different than 2022, in that in 2023 it will be an invention test.

There are opportunities for 3 teams. There is some product sponsorship and financial sponsorship on offer.

Competitors (Teams of 2) will be be given a list of materials to use, but the design of the 24m2 area will be completely up to them.

The Gardens will be built at The BBCGWL Autumn Fair at Audley End House and Gardens in 16.5hrs starting Wednesday 30th August and finishing lunchtime (during day 1 of the show) at 1pm.

Details of the materials will be posted in early Feb, giving plenty of time to pull together your design.

Completed designs will have to be submitted by the end of July, giving the World Skills Judges an opportunity to create the marking sheets and ensure parity and fairness across all gardens.

This is a really exciting twist to the competition.
